Who Is Sandeep Singh? – A Story in Brief

Born in a middle-class family in Prayagraj (Allahabad), Sandeep Singh lived a joyful early life — filled with curiosity, creativity, and an unshakable love for sweets. At the age of 15, he was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes — a turning point that marked the beginning of a long and complex journey involving ambition, health challenges, and, eventually, complete loss of vision.
But darkness, as it turned out, brought with it a deeper light.

An alumnus of IIT Roorkee with a degree in architecture, Sandeep discovered that when the outer world fades, the inner world begins to glow. He turned to writing — first as healing, then as calling.

Words From His Readers

About His Books

Sandeep has written and published two Hindi novels, each shaped by lived experience, quiet strength, and deep empathy.

Ananya is the story of a man before and after disability — a journey through loss, rediscovery, and inner resilience.

Arushi – Surya Ki Pehli Kiran follows the hopes and hurdles of a visually impaired girl, told with tenderness and truth.

Both books were written slowly and thoughtfully, over years of silence, reflection, and careful storytelling — with support from loved ones and volunteers who believe in the power of honest words.

His next novel — currently in the making — will be in English, exploring the creative spirit of a woman navigating tradition, selfhood, and voice.

Final Words

I don’t write because I’m blind. I write because I still feel everything.
